Community Pharmacy plays an integral role in the Primary Care system.

The first-place a patient visits for advice on minor ailments, healthy living, and disease screening should be their local Community Pharmacy.

There is still a perceived lack of awareness among the general public about the extended role of Community Pharmacy; this creates a barrier towards patients using them.
